Online Banking Accounts Issue

May 15, 2024

Many of our online banking customers are experiencing a sudden influx of emails regarding failed login attempts to their online banking. Some customers are also experiencing repeated account lockouts.

We are aware of this situation and our teams are diligently working to resolve the issue.

We apologize for the inconvenience and want to assure you that security and safety for our customers is always Gulf Coast Bank’s top priority.

Here are some helpful tips for username and password security online:

  • Avoid easily guessable information (such as your name, birthdate, or address)
  • Avoid public or shared networks to access your personal information or accounts
  • Never share your username or password
  • Never reuse passwords
  • Update your passwords regularly and ensure they are strong and unique
  • Use a trusted password manager

In our increasingly digitized world, cyber security is more important than ever. The battle against cyber security attacks is one we take very seriously, and we are constantly learning and adapting to best protect our customers’ information.
